Hi guys! If you’re here, it’s probably because you’ve found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, and now comes the task of asking her to marry you. We are SO excited for you! Marriage is one of the greatest things we’ve done in our lives, and deserves to be celebrated in every stage, from proposal to every little anniversary and milestone you hit.
That’s where we come in. If you’re looking for Phoenix’s best engagement photographers to hide in bushes and capture this * very * special moment in your life together, you’re in the right place! We’ve got longggg lenses and sneaky moves to make sure every moment is captured to your liking (and without blowing the surprise), so you and your future fiancee can look back on this special day for the rest of time.
As a husband and wife team, we’ve literally been through this very thing before. If you’d like, we have Katie to help you plan little details, and Joseph to talk you through the moment and even calm nerves if needed. Just like every one of our clients, we are as invested in you as you are in us, and will make this moment a dream for the two of you however we can! (And if this dream includes hiking, pretending to be casually wine tasting, or literally donning a ghillie suit and sinking back into the bushes Homer Simpson style, count us IN!)
How this works—
BEFORE YOUR PROPOSAL
We will collaborate to develop a plan for your proposal that best fits your vision and her wishes. We will coordinate location (we have a few in mind if you’re feeling stuck), the best time for the big moment to go down, and even help you lock down additional vendors if that’s something you’ll need! Expect stress-free communication so all you have to worry about is asking the love of your life to marry you!
DURING YOUR PROPOSAL
One of us will be there with a zoom lens, as well as a portrait lens to document the moment honestly, and artfully. We will take care of disguising ourselves so we look like an innocent bystander and as not to ruin the moment.
After you’ve proposed, we’ll fill the rest of our time together with an “engagement session” of sorts (think traditional, prompted rather than posed couple photos to document the moment).
AFTER YOUR PROPOSAL
We’ll send over a handful of “sneak peek'“ photos within 24 hours of the proposal so you can share the news with those you love. The rest will be delivered no more than two weeks after your proposal!
We’re a Phoenix Proposal Photography Duo~
Hi there! If this is your first time meeting us, we are Katie and Joseph, and we are a husband and wife team specializing in documenting couples’ most memorable milestones throughout their life together.
Most of our couples these days work with us from their proposal, to their wedding, and even end up hiring us in the years that follow as they grow their family. It’s an honor to befriend other couples and do life alongside one another. In fact, that’s our biggest goal as photographers— we want you to see us as real friends of yours, because, when this happens, barriers break down, and we’re able to photograph your special moments just a little more honestly.
We got engaged and married in 2020, and have loved every second of working together in the years since! We’ve gotten to travel all over the US to take photos of fun loving couples, but we especially love photographing love in our desert home of Phoenix.
Outside of photography, we love being outside as much as possible, exploring the miles of trails in the area. Our Sundays are spent at church, and then cheering on our beloved Detroit Lions, and in between all the work we do, we love spending as much time with our community as we can. Our friends are so important to us, and they really fuel and grow our marriage too!

The Best Phoenix Proposal Locations—
We’ll provide you with a more in depth list of locations upon booking, but for now, gather some inspiration from some of our favorite spots in the Valley!
A location sentimental to you- There’s a reason why this is number one on our list, because it’s significant to your story together, and sometimes that is a more beautiful thing than any other landmark can provide. Maybe it’s the place you first met, where you had your first date, the place you had a big conversation that changed the course of your relationship, or your favorite neighborhood spot where you two spend so much time together!
Out in nature- We’re aware not * every * girl wants to be hiking when she is surprised with a proposal, but if this isn’t something she is picky about, we’d love to meet you somewhere scenic. Our favorite locations in the Phoenix area are: Lost Dutchman, South Mountain, along the Salt River, Usery Mountain, and Phoenix Mountains Preserve. We’ll help you figure out extra logistics if your chosen location requires permits or passes!
At a venue- A number of the wedding venues in Phoenix allow proposals on site during the week, when weddings or installs aren’t happening. Often times, these venues are quite picturesque, and provide for an alternative to the ever popular hiking trail proposal.
An epic destination- Arizona boasts some pretty sweet destinations just outside Phoenix. Does your vision for your proposal include the red rocks of Sedona, the awe inspiring cliffs of the Grand Canyon, or the dense cactus “forest” in Saguaro National Park? We’re in to join you for an epic adventure outside of the Valley, too!

Greater Phoenix Proposal Investment—
Our base proposal package begins at $350 for 30 minutes of photography, plus planning assistance.
With all our packages, you’ll receive all the GOOD, fully edited photos (leaving out duplicates and the not good ones) in an online gallery, including a small collection of sneak peeks delivered within 24 hours, so you can share the news with everyone you love. With this package, we are also happy to provide vendor referrals if your plan involves any other details, help with planning how this whole thing will go down, and whatever other encouragement and support you need as you prepare for this special moment!
Planning a proposal elsewhere in Arizona? We’re happy to meet you there, just expect a little travel fee tacked on to our base package.
