Kingan Gardens Tucson Elopement | Morgan & Juan
Morgan and Juan’s elopement truly felt like a little escape from the real world—
It was just the two of them and me as they exchanged vows at one of Tucson’s historic wedding venues, Kingan Gardens. Though this little venue is located smack dab in the middle of downtown Tucson, the aged brick and lush gardens really lock you in and make you feel like you’re in your own little world. This was the perfect setting for Morgan and Juan’s elopement— they wanted to really be able to focus on each other and nothing else.
And that is just what transpired. It’s what inspires couples to elope everyday! Stress did not define their elopement at all, these two were perfectly free to be themselves, and to enjoy themselves. I love elopements so much for this reason!
Being from Tucson, Morgan and Juan wanted to get married in their city. These two were hoping for more of an urban setting to fit their personalities (and, can we just talk about how Morgan’s outfit fit the vibe perfectly?). Kingan Gardens provided just that. From here, we could walk the streets of downtown Tucson and be in the peaceful setting of the gardens and all its picturesque little nooks.
I began the day with Morgan getting ready. She went for a gorgeous bows and pearls look, complimented with adorable heart shaped sunglasses. After she and Juan exchanged vows under one of Kingan Garden’s citrus trees, we all toasted to their marriage at a champagne wall, and then began our adventure running through the streets of Tucson in the early afternoon sun, and taking photos around the gardens themselves.
Afterward, Morgan and Juan enjoyed a little picnic lunch and reminisced on the afternoon that had just transpired. It was beautiful and so sentimental, the perfect way to begin a marriage without having to put on a show or live up to any societal standards for how a wedding day should look and feel. Without the pressure to perform, Morgan and Juan were able to enjoy every second of their sweet little elopement!
