Megan & Andrew’s engagement session encapsulated all the beauty San Luis Obispo has to offer!

From beaches, to cow-lined backroads, to rolling hills, SLO has it all, and truly makes it the perfect destination for an engagement photoshoot. We began Megan & Andrew’s engagement shoot with golden hour / sunset photos at our all time favorite place in San Luis Obispo for engagement photos, Montana de Oro. We spent the evening wandering the bluff trail, landing at a bunch of beaches and picturesque cliffside spots where we were able to capture the tangible love these high school sweethearts share. After ten years together, Megan & Andrew were so very clearly excited to finally be getting married!

One of our favorite parts of this session was popping a couple bottles of champagne at a scenic spot on MDO’s Bluff Trail as the sun was dipping below the horizon. As the sun set, we headed over to a nearby backroad for some open road style photos! We discovered this spot a few years back, and it is just perfect for blue hour engagement photos. We laughed so much as the warm evening got cold (real fast, classic SLO!), and it is making us so excited to witness these two get married in Paso Robles next year!! These two have a heck of a friend group, and if we know anything about their wedding, it’s gonna be an absolute party!
