Sunrise Montana de Oro Engagement Session
Kelsey & Dylan were set up as formal dates in college by their close friends, and all went well from that point! The two finished out college by each other’s sides before joining the majority of their close friends in moving up to the Bay Area after school! Three and a half years after their first date, they are now engaged, and just adopted the most adorable bundle of energy, their German Shepherd pup Stella! Kelsey & Dylan opted for a sunrise engagement session at Montana de Oro on the Central Coast where they met!
As these two cute humans started dating while in school at Cal Poly, Montana de Oro was just a few miles down the road and became a destination in which Kelsey & Dylan spent a ton of time when not in class, and a special spot they decided to return to for their engagement photos! We decided to do a little sunrise shoot to avoid crowds and keep their ever social Stella from sniffing too many humans ;)
We began the shoot by exploring the Bluff Trail, finding a secluded beach below the cliffs. Stella had the best time digging holes and rolling around while her parents loved on each other and took in the abnormally sunny morning Montana de Oro had to offer! After making our way through the diverse landscape of the bluffs, we headed over to the eucalyptus forest as the sun rose overhead. We captured some more moody photos as the morning light broke through the dense clusters of trees!
We are so excited to celebrate Kelsey & Dylan’s wedding next year, and to see Stella back in action as their ring bearer! The two will once again be headed down to their college town here on the Central Coast to seal the deal surrounded by their families the same friends who very keenly set them up a few years back!
