A Spring Vineyard Wedding | Sarah & Omer
A Traditional Jewish Wedding at Cass Winery in Paso Robles
We met Sarah & Omer last fall over FaceTime, and were immediately enamored by their energy and love for one another. Their vineyard wedding in San Luis Obispo was a long time coming, and they were so excited to finally be married. These two college sweethearts met early in their days at UC Santa Cruz, and struck a friendship immediately. Their lives quickly became intertwined, and they came to found out they grew up just fifteen minutes from each other in Southern California. Soon enough, Sarah & Omer grew close with each other’s families, began traveling the world together, and made plans for their post grad life involving each other.
Fast forward to a sunny spring day in Paso Robles, at a gorgeous winery amidst the area’s rolling hills and vineyards, where these two, over a decade later, finally exchanged vows and became one. The day was perfect for a Central Coast wedding, not too hot, and with the rows of vineyards finally sprouting new green leaves for this year’s vintages.
Sarah, Omer, and their bridal party all got ready at Cass Winery- in the property’s Geneseo Inn and Guest House. These two were anxiously awaiting their first look, the moment they’d finally get to see each other. This was such a sweet moment- Sarah quite literally ran down the aisle under the vineyard’s sprawling oak tree to see Omer. After their first look, the two shared private vows and took the moment in. It was a real treat to put on our zoom lenses and sit back and let them have this private moment to kick off their wedding festivities.
After the first look we headed inside the beautifully decorated Barrel Room for the two to sign their ketubah, before heading back out to the oak tree for their traditional Jewish ceremony. Hundreds of excited guests watched as Sarah and Omer made their vows to each other, and as Omer smashed the glass (mazel tov!). After sealing the deal with a kiss and walking down the natural vineyard wedding aisle as husband and wife, Sarah and Omer took some time to soak in the moment with a ride in Cass Winery’s classic car.
Cocktail Hour was full of delicious looking drinks and all the hugs as these two joined their people to begin the celebration. Guests were seated in the Barrel Room, decorated with spring pastels, gold accents, and simple floral arrangements, for a family style dinner. We had the most stunning golden sunset over the vineyards, and we knew we were in for a fun night!
We walked out from our dinner space to begin toasts, expecting to find everyone finishing up dinner and chatting among themselves. What we instead walked into was every single guest at the wedding absolutely getting down on the dance floor to our new favorite genre of music, Israeli EDM. Everyone was so excited to celebrate Sarah and Omer that they collectively decided to start early, and we were there for it. Keep scrolling to the end of the gallery to see some of our favorite dance floor photos ever!! Enjoy :)
