Cass Winery Wedding | Lexa & Jordan

Jordan and Lexa, Kansas City natives, had their eyes set on a California vineyard wedding from the moment they began planning. The two had been together for over ten years, and nothing was going to stop them from getting married, despite everything 2020 had thrown at them: Covid, fires, and health problems to name a few. The two chose the gorgeous vineyards at Cass Winery as their backdrop and engineered the most heartfelt, intimate ceremony and dinner.

Their day began with a relaxing morning, Lexa drinking mimosas and getting ready with her girls while Jordan golfed with the guys. Lexa chose a retro Airbnb in downtown Paso Robles where she was pampered with her ladies and got all glammed up to see Jordan. Before leaving for the winery in the Cass Cab, a retro Chrysler, she shared an emotional first look with her father under the olive trees in the backyard. The two then set off for Cass to meet Jordan, who was busy getting ready in the Barrel Room at the winery.

Lexa & Jordan’s intimate first look was done far away from all the wedding prep, under one of the many oak trees at Cass Winery. Jordan’s parents, unable to make the trip out to California due to health issues, made a video with his grandparents and best man to get him ready for his wedding day. Lexa surprised him with this during their first look, and it made for an emotional beginning to their day.

Guests arriving Cass Winery were greeted by a welcome toast before heading over to the ceremony site, a giant oak tree in the middle of the vineyard. Rows of vines made for a picturesque aisle for Lexa & Jordan’s good friend-turned-officiant, maid of honor, and best woman to make their way to the ceremony. Lexa and her father pulled up in the Cass Cab and made their way down the aisle as the sun began to set behind them. Lexa & Jordan designed a ceremony that truly celebrated their ten years of life together: all their ups and downs, college, building careers, buying a house, and even adopting their two fur babies. Everyone who was unable to travel to the Paso Robles wedding joined in via live stream and cheered on as the two finally became one.

Following the ceremony, Lexa & Jordan caught the last of the sunset over Cass Winery as guests were helped to more wine and appetizers. The newlyweds joined their families and were toasted by Jordan’s Best Woman and Lexa’s Maid of Honor, both of which left not a dry eye on the veranda. As the evening slipped into dusk, Lexa & Jordan cut their cake, complete with a custom cake topper of their very own pups, before heading over to their rustic farmhouse style table for a five course dinner. The two spent the evening reveling with family before jetting off to Tulum for their honeymoon!
